Zen Basil Cookie Dough
Ingredients:
2 Coconut Zen Basil Hydrates
1 cup blanched almond flour
1 1/2 Tbsp coconut flour
3 Tbsp coconut oil melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 Tbsp almond milk
1/8 tsp fine grain sea salt
Optional: 1/2 cup sugar-free chocolate chips
Process:
In a mixing bowl, add 2 Coconut Zen Basil Hydrates, almond flour, coconut flour, coconut oil, vanilla extract, almond milk, salt, and mix well. The Zen Hydrates will give it the sweetness without using any sugar or sugar alcohol, just all natural monk fruit. Optional: Add some sugar-free chocolate chips if you like.
You can enjoy it immediately or place in the fridge for 30 minutes if you want it more solid!
Zen Basil Seeds Vegan Homemade Crackers
Ingredients:
2 cups blanched almond flour
½ cup Zen Basil seeds
¼ cup water
1 tsp sea salt
Optional:
¼ cup sesame seeds
½ tsp garlic powder
1-2 tsp onion powder
½ tsp black pepper
Process:
Mix all dry ingredients well.
Add the water and mix well, use your hands, it will take about a minute to become a dough form.
Place the dough between two large pieces of parchment paper, lightly oiled. Use a roller, or your hands, to press down and flatten into a rectangle (About 2 cm thick)
Peel off the top parchment paper
Place the parchment lined baking sheet into the oven and bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes, or until golden. Cool completely before breaking.
Waffle maker options:
Place two parchment papers with the flattened dough mixed inside between the waffle maker and it’s ready in 5 minutes just like how you would make a waffle!
